Once again Gigi Proietti will be in charge of the artistic direction of Rome's Globe Theatre this year. The theatre was built and inaugurated three years ago to mark the 100-year anniversary of the Villa Borghese park. The programme for Summer 2006 includes, as is the custom now at the Globe Theatre, a series of performances dedicated to the theatre and plays of Shakespeare and Goldoni.
