The Palalottomatica venue in Rome will light up with the fervour of great basketball, one of the most popular sports on the Italian peninsula. The Italian teams, and in particular Rome's Virtus Roma team, will be contending for the Top Division Tim Trophy. The basketball meets of the 2007/08 season will provide an unforgettable sporting experience. 7 Oct: Giornata mondiale del trekking urbano: correndo nella storia di Roma (World Urban Trekking Day: running amid the history of Rome)
Three hours of walking amid the archaeological and architectural marvels of the Eternal City. The itinerary includes a visit to the Mithraeum of Circus Maximus, the Foro Boario and lastly, the Boccà della Verità. Other interesting stops are the Theatre of Marcellus, the Portico D’Ottavia and the Ghetto.
