Golf is a sport that our nation is slowly discovering and increasingly appreciating. This is an event not to be missed, a meeting between the best European players. The Italian tournament boasts 19 meets and a staggering 400,000 euro prize. From June 14 to June 17, the final 60 contenders will battle for the title. The Pro-Am will take place on June 18. The teams in the competition will be made of one professional and three amateurs, as well as the ten final teams in the BMW Golf Cup International. The female competition is made up of an 18-hole course. Admission free

An exclusive party will welcome the best seven-a-side rugby teams, who will face off in fourteen-minute direct elimination matches in the city. Roma Seven will be a non-stop fete of emotions, as fans root for the legendary Samurai di Roma, hoping the team will win another title. Romaquatica is back for the 2006 season, to the joy of all those who love water games and sports. Swimming stars will put on an unforgettable show, which will include the Trofeo Settecolli (water polo), the Roma Sincro Open (synchronised swimming) and the Gran Prix Fina Tuffi (diving).

This competition is based on the sea, sails and solidarity. For more than ten years, 100 Sails weds the love for sailing and social consciousness, devolving all proceeds to humanitarian associations (including ANTEA, AIRC and ROMAIL). More than one hundred boats participated in the initial competition in 1995; in 2000, that number was up to four hundred. The Roman seaside will be alive once more this summer with 100 Sails.

Professional athletes and amateurs will challenge one another in beach tennis on the Roman beaches. There will be music, games and surprises for kids during the competition, and at the end of the day's competition a happy hour will start the evening's events.
