This performance boasts more than just an excellent story (Charles Perrault's "La Belle au Bois dormant"); it also boasts excellent music, courtesy of Tchaikovsky. This ballet version in one prologue and three acts is directed by Dieter Rossberg; the choreography is by Paul Chalmer; the scenery and costumes are by Aldo Buti. Piccola Lirica's edition of "Tosca" is a novelty that breaks all boundaries of operatic traditions.
