A ballet in four acts with music by Tchaikovsky. The Corps de Ballet and Orchestra of the Teatro dell'Opera will perform, as will Carla Fracci, in the role of the Queen Mother. Other members of the cast include Sadaise Arencihia, Laura Comi and Irina Dvorovenko taking turns as Odette; Maxim Beloserkovsky, Victor Gili and Mario Marozzi, who will take turns in the part of Prince Siegfried. Carla Fracci has devised the choreography of this three-act ballet inspired by the famous fable by Charles Perrault. The role of Cinderella will be played alternately by Laura Comi, Anjella Kouznetsova and Evgenia Obraztsova, while the prince's role will be performed by Mario Marozzi and Giuseppe Picone. This third and latest edition of the festival is dedicated to "K", as in Koechel, Mozart famous cataloguer. On the programme are eight great concerts performed by the Orchestra and Choir of the Accademia di Santa Cecilia and conducted by masters such as Ton Koopman, Paul McCreesh and Christopher Hogwood.
