A trio of magnificent ballets presented in a single act: "Pulcinella" set to music by Igor Stravinskij; "Parade" set to music by Eric Satie; "The Hat with three points" set to music by Manuel De Falla. The Orchestra and Corps de Ballet of Rome's Teatro dell'Opera are directed by David Coleman; the choreography is by Leonide Massine. From 16 to 22 Feb: Giselle
A refined two-act ballet based on a story by Théophile Gautier and Vernoy de Saint-Georges and set to music by Adolphe-Charles Adam. David Coleman conducts the Opera and the Corps de Ballet of the Teatro dell'Opera. The choreography is by Carla Fracci, Jean Coralli and Jules Perrot; Anna Anni has created the set design and costumes. Giselle will be performed alternately by Laura Comi, Oksana Kucheruk and Svetlana Lunkina, and Albrecht by Mario Marozzi, Andrian Fadaeev and Igor Yebra.
