An opera in three acts based on the libretto by Guelfo Civinini and Carlo Zangarini and based on the drama "The Girl of the Golden West" by David Belasco. The cast includes Myrtò Papatanasiu, alternating with Susanna Branchini, in the role of Floria Tosca; Giuseppe Gipali and Maurizio Graziani, on the other hand, take on the part of Mario Cavaradossi; and Mauro Buda and Silvio Zanon share the role of Baron Scarpia. Jean-Yves Lormeau curated the 2008 edition of this ballet first performed in Paris in 1836. The ballets tells of the love story between Fleur-du-Champ and squire Rudolph.
