Study the art of singing to let the voice free and find yourself: this is Valeria Rinaldi's aim and her daily goal to reach. She decided to dedicate her studies especially to American traditional jazz, in order to understand how to create her own style combining her background and her musical studies. In 2007 she got her degree in Music Techniques and Sciences at Tor Vergata University in Rome. Then in 2012 she obtained her master degree in Jazz Studies Santa Cecilia Music Conservatory in Rome. She studied Jazz singing with Maria Pia De Vito, Bob Stoloff, Diana Torto, Cinzia Spata, Cameron Brown, Sheila Jordan, Barry Harris, Norma Winstone, Elisabetta Antonini, Marilena Paradisi, Barry Harris Kurt Elling, David Linx. In 2012 her first album named "Terranova"has been published. This was a work in collaboration with Finnish pianist Karri Luhtala for Konkurssi Records in Helsinki. During 2014-2015 three of her songs have been recorded and included into Emanuele Urso's new album. In 2017 her single Lilí has been presented to the public. She collaborates with great musicians and has taken part to several festivals including: “Traktoritz Jazit” Festival 2010/2011/2012(Finland), Terastamo Jazz July 2016 (Finland), Gaeta Jazz August 2016 (Rinaldi Luhtala jazz Project). Festival Internazionale Swing “Hep Cats Holiday” 2014-15-16(UK), “Harlem” May 2015 (Lithuania) along with Emanuele Urso's orchestra.
Stefano Nencha's passion for music began when he was just a child. He first started to play piano and then discorvered his instrument was definitely the guitar. He began guitar studies as a self-taught and then continued at Donna Olimpia's SPM and Testaccio SPM. Later he studied with guitarist Fabio Zeppetella and decided to examine in depth jazz language continuing then at Santa Cecilia Music Conservatory in Rome. He has taken part to several seminars led by great jazz musicians such as Peter Bernstein, Adam Rogers, Steve Grossman and Barry Harrys. He plays in Roman exclusive locations and clubs with talented musicians such as Dino Piana, Franco Piana, Francesco Lento, Carlo Conti, Daniele Tittarelli, Francesco Puglisi, Vincenzo Florio, Stefano Nunzi, Pietro Ciancaglini, Pierpaolo Ranieri, Domenico Sanna,Riccardo Fassi, Vincenzo Lucarelli, Marco Valeri, Marco Rovinelli, Andrea Nunzi and others. He recorded several soundtracks and albums in particular with Massimo Pirone: “Portrait of Trombone”, Isma records; “Directly from the heart”, Helikonia; "All my friends are musicians", Point of view; "What? Music for underground", Italian Way Music; "Portrait of Roberts", Italian Way Music. He has also taken part to several jazz festivals including the ones in Rome (Villa Celimontana Jazz), Teano (Teano Jazz Winter), Tivoli (Along Came Jazz) and Orvieto (Umbria Jazz Winter). He performed during the International Music Fest in Ningbo, Shanghai (Maritime Silk Road Music Festival). He has been part of the orchestra during Enrico Brignano's tour “Sono romano ma" which has been shown in the most important theatres in Italy. The show was recorded in Verona's Arena and has been published on DVD. He has taught in many Roman music academies such as Saint Louis and Accademia Romana di Musica. Since 2000 he teaches modern and jazz guitar at "Officine Musicali del Borgo".
